Music Business Ediucation (operating as www.thebiz.com.au) takes the utmost precautions to protect users information. When sensitive information is submitted via www.thebiz.com.au,  that information is encrypted and is protected by industry standard technology equivalent to that used by Banks for online banking transactions. Our secure web pages use an 128-bit SSL certificate to ensure secure transmission of your information. This ensures that all information you send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted. If any other Internet user intercepts the communication he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted (garbled) form. Certificate technology allows us to decrypt the information, and view it in plain text form.

The servers on which we collect and store personal information are kept in a secure environment. Under NO circumstances will any of your personal information be divulged to a 3rd party. 

Music Business Ediucation (operating as www.thebiz.com.au) has significant systems and procedures designed to detect the fraudulent use of credit cards. Please do not be offended if we contact you requiring additional verification of your credit details as this is for your and our protection.For your own security we may also request for some orders, for you to fax through a copy of your signature as verification of your credit card payment to go through. You will be notified via email if this is required.

Payment methods

We accept Mastercard and Visa and also we accept payments via Paypal.. We also welcome direct bank deposits, cheques and postal money orders. Instructions for use of any/all of these methods will be outlined during the checkout process. Please note that in the case of payment by cheque, we will only dispatch your order once our bank has cleared the cheque. In the case of postal money orders, orders will be dispatched immediately.

Shipping costs

We use Australia Post for our shipping. Postage is charged by weight, automatically calculated at checkout. As a guide, approximately 1 to 2 books such as the Music Business Supplements will be $5.50 via Standard Post.

Delivery time

Your books will be sent within two business days. Australia Post has an estimated delivery time of 5 working days, counted from the day after posting. So, if a parcel is posted on Tuesday, you should receive it by the following Tuesday, presuming there are no Public Holidays that week. If shipped via Express Post, delivery will depend on where you are in the Express Post Delivery Network.

Returns policy

If you are unhappy with your transaction, please contact us. Each case will be reviewed independently. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage on the part of Australia Post, and in such cases a refund cannot be provided.

Shipping areas

We currently only ship to address within Australia.

Overseas (non-Australian) shoppers

While we currently only process payments for Australian customers, in the near future we will be processing international orders.
